Echo Park Paper and Glue range

Hello on this awesome Sunday. I am here today to show you 2 layouts that I did using the Paper and Glue range from Echo Park for Mad About Scrappin' I did a school photo layout and a non school photo layout to show that you can use any photo.

First up the School layout:

I was going to do paint drips on the background but decided against it...wish I had now but I guess the artist in me is never fully happy lol. I have started doodling around the edges and add extra info about the photo. In this case who the teacher was, yr fav subject etc.

I layered heaps of stickers from this range, all ones that meant something to Sophie and Pre Primary. The flowers are all from MAS...the big yellow flower was white but I misted it yellow.

I just had to use the worm, he is sooooo cute. The Flair is from Futterby

The title is alphas from the range. The chipboard is from Memory Maze...they are the leftover from my last DT pack. They are amazing value for money. I have used some in the next layout and I STILL have leftovers!!!!

Now for the next layout:

I have tried to go for a really non school photo. Again I have doodled around the edges of the paper added extra info. I have stamped using a kaisercraft stamp.

Using cuttlebug and a die I made the Rosette.  The strips under it are leftover stickers that I used under the photo. All Flairs are Futtlerbys.

The title is a sticker from the range. Again all flowers are from MAS. The green was a different colour but I needed a green one so I misted it.

More Memory maze chipboard.

I love LOADS of paper and stickers left over. I will be doing more layouts and cards. MAS still have the whole range but in limited numbers.... head HERE for the whole range. And while your shopping take a look at their flowers and Memory Maze range.

Painting Fun

This layout is for WEEK 1 at the Monopoly Challenge. I had to use paint, glitter and stars. Now I HATE glitter and had to steal some glitter glue from my girls craft.

To make the background I stood over the paper and using Kaisercraft paint I took off the lids and waved it over the page, letting the paint fall anywhere. I then had to leave it for 24hrs to dry

The title is A2Z Scraplets. I painted it with red paint (kaisercraft) and put a little silver glitter glue over it. The paper is Sassafras.

I used Charms Creations for the stars and a Studio Fourteen40 Flair (p.s Studio has a website now and you can receive a 10% discount. Head HERE to their facebook page to get all the details. Also Charm Creation has a sale last night. Head HERE to her facebook page to see if there is any left)

To finish off the page I doodled, something I don't do very often.

I had awesome fun with this page. If you would like to do this challenge head over HERE to get all the details.

First layout for the Monopoly challenge

Hello, today I am showing you a layout I did for the Scrapbooking top 50 Monopoly Challenge (what a mouth full lol)

I had to use the word 'Go' (or use it in a word, eg: going) and something from a game. I used the word 'GOING' and a Queen card from a deck of cards.

Here is my layout:

The full title is 'Me and you going to love each other always' I used a Studio Fourteen40 Flair as part of the title. And I used a Charms Creation Chevron (by the way Charm is having a 'Pink' sale so head HERE to her facebook page). You can just see the card.

I have used lots of A2Z Scraplets. The stencil you see, the vine and butterfly.

The paper range I used was Kasiercraft Note range. Flowers are from Mad About Scrappin.

If you want to join in the fun head HERE to Join the site and for the challenges.

School photo done a bit different

Hello I am here today to share with you a layout I did for the A2Z Scraplets new release using a Pre Primary photo of my oldest girl:

First up I gessoed a bit of the background and drew some Gelatos on that area. With loads of water sprayed on I lifted the paper upright so the colour would run done.

With the new release 5 frame from A2Z Scraplets I gessoed it and then using A2Z Scraplets leaves stencil and texture paste I put the pattern on the frame. Then more Gelatos and water. Under the frame is a bandage from the first aid box that I misted

The full title is from A2Z and its Lil Miss Sunshine. It was gessoed and painted yellow. Flowers I got from Mad About Scrappin and the charms from a prize I won from The Trinket Track.

The rest of the title, more charm and more scraplet from A2Z (gessoed and Gelatoed)

For all the New Release head HERE

A2Z Scraplets has an awesome sketch up head HERE for more details.

Til next time
